1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use seagrapelabs.com, our demos, and our client portal. Sea Grape Labs is run by Scott Lovel in Jupiter, Florida (“we”, “us”). By using the website or portal you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
2. The website and demos
The website is here to explain what we do. The demos use sample data and run in your browser, so nothing in them is real, saved or sent. Prices, estimates and the cost calculator are a starting point to help you plan. They are not a quote or an offer. Your real price is the one in your signed agreement.
3. Project work
Paid work is covered by a written agreement you sign with us, usually a Master Services Agreement plus a Statement of Work for each project. That agreement sets the scope, price, timeline, ownership and support terms. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
4. Your portal account
- Keep your login private, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- You are responsible for what happens under your login, including approvals and requests you send.
- We may pause access to protect your project or our systems, for example if we see suspicious activity, and we will tell you why.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you give us, like your logo, photos, text and data. You give us permission to use it to build, run and support your project. You confirm you have the right to use what you send, including photos and any material created by others.
6. Connected accounts
You can connect accounts you own, such as Cloudflare, so we can set things up without asking for your passwords. When you connect one:
- You authorize Sea Grape Labs to use that access for your project, within the permissions the service showed you when you approved it. Typical uses are publishing your website, connecting your domain, adding the records your site needs, adjusting the related security settings and checking that everything works.
- Changes are reviewed and approved by Sea Grape Labs before they run, every change is logged, and we do not delete or replace records we did not create.
- You stay the owner of the account. The service’s own terms and any fees it charges still apply to you.
- You can disconnect at any time from your portal or from the service’s account settings. Features that rely on the connection may stop working until it is reconnected.
- Please only connect accounts you are allowed to manage for your business.
7. Payments
Invoices, deposits and care plans are paid as set out in your agreement. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your full card or bank number. Ongoing plans renew as described in your agreement until cancelled.
8. Using things fairly
Please do not misuse the website or portal. That includes trying to get into accounts or data that are not yours, uploading anything harmful or illegal, sending spam through forms, or interfering with how the site works.
9. Other companies’ services
Our work relies on services like Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend and your domain registrar. We are not responsible for outages, changes or decisions made by those companies, but we will help you work through any problems they cause for your project.
10. Warranties and liability
The website, demos and portal are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise they will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages from using them. For project work, the warranties and limits in your signed agreement apply instead.
11. Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Palm Beach County, Florida, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.
12. Changes and contact
If we update these terms, we will change the date at the top, and clients will be told about important changes by email. Questions are always welcome:
